Slant/Fin Error Lockout 67 / Hold 67: ILK OFF — Interlock / Low Water Cutoff open
The SOLA control's interlock (ILK) circuit has opened, holding the burner off until the interlock recloses. The Slant/Fin CHS troubleshooting table documents the cause for code 67 as a low-water condition tripping the boiler's internal low-water cutoff (LWCO); the corrective action is to check operation of the internal LWCO. (The ILK string can also include other limit devices, but the manual's code-67 entry itself cites the low-water/LWCO condition; a failing limit in the ILK circuit, including an external limit wired between R and LIM, is addressed under codes 173/174.) During the factory low-water test an empty boiler correctly shows Lockout 67 ILK OFF. We diagnose and repair it across Greater Vancouver — same-day and after-hours.
